Meijel .. De Vangrail - 1500 Jungle Animalzz Party Tent !!!

What a night! A big place, filled up with hundreds of people ready to rock. Good sound, only happy faces around, so the Show could be nothing less then a succes.. Right from the top with  `welcome to the jungle.. `till the very last song-tone we rocked that place louder then anything else.... while ..the police decided to turn off the Power-Switch !!  What more can I say !! Limburg, i'll miss you. Just as i'll miss This Band.

Next gig Wido Axl dK.. will be back, i'm thankfull to have filled the gab during his summer holliday´s.

Liederkerke...De Plesj Rockt

Take 2 video crews, a loud crowd and a lot of  Rock N´ Roll Tribute Bands... what you get is ..  De Plesj Rockt in Belgium.

The entourage was sublime, the crowd loved the songs, and we had a new good old time.
For instance..Recording the gig from the singers point of view. A camera strapped to the shoulder finaly gave insight in what axl rose might experienced..

Reusel...El Sombrero

So here they are... back in the Jungle... Slash Bourbon N´ Max Axl  on the GUNZ N´ ROZES  Stage....

Because...Wido. Axl dK .. was on a well earned holiday, and because the show must go on, we promissed the GN´R Fanzz in El Sombrero to take them right  down to the Paradise Reusel City Show they wanted !! And they loved it!

allready at the 3rd song, people started dancing on stage. Bouncers tried to get them of again N´again, but the Fanzz  just couldn´t stop Party on The GN´R Jungle Stage again N´again.

In the end every-one was happy.... well.... every-one except the lady cops. They gave our Dicky a hard warning for urinating in the street (while playing November Rain!!!). The damage will be payed, but what a jungle-book story...

Brielpoort - Deinze,  GN'R final gig of 2008.

About 800 people were gathered in Deinze for another great Tribute-night.
It's always great to play in this area with it's large devoted crowd that loves ‘hard’rock-music and tribute-bands.

First band IC/TC played a fantastic AC/DC set. You guys really rock! Thank you for this show and we’ll see each other definitely again in 2009!

Bulls On Parade put together a powerfull set as a tribute to Rage Against The Machine.

Then it was GUNZ N' ROZES  f*ckin' rock time.

Although the first two bands had technical problems with the guitars during the first and second song, there was no sign of it at all during the GN'R  set.

Openers ‘You Could be Mine’ and ‘Nightrain’ made the audience aware of  the GN'R arrival.
It had been for over one-and-a-half month since we’ve been on stage with our drummer Luc.
Well, what an energy he had this evening. He beat the hell out of his drum kit.

The show was one big flow and it felt like it was finished after only having played one song.
The venue was great, the sound explosive and the audience brutally loud!

To everyone who’ve supported us last year (and many yearz before);
Thank you very much and we’ll see each other real soon in 2009!!!!!!

Sunday 23th we played in the Effenaar (mainstage) at a very snowy , icy N’ slippery rough winter weather GN’R – Eindhoven Show ..   We had a good drive and the gig went great. ….. Hell Yeah
We made a lot of new Gunz N’ Rozes Fanzz that day. !!

Chinese Democracy  - Rock N' Roll - Fun  !!!!

 Thursday 20th November we played a gig in the Rock Classic Bar (Brussels) on the evening Universal Belgium promoted the new album of Guns n’ Roses (Chinese Democracy).

Together with die-hard GnR-fans we listened to the tunes of the new album. (Strange enough, some people in the audience already sang along the new songs!! Wonder how that’s possible, haha!!)

After the listening session we played a 45 minute gig with ...

Three fantastic gigs in a row!

A week ago we played in Almelo on a tribute night.
A lot of cafes with acts like Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Anouk….
We played in café De Stam. Damn’ those people were completely crazy.
People were dancing, jumping, singing whole the concert.
What an energy!!!!
All ages met each other in the ‘pit’.
It was one big hell of Rock N’ Roll  Party Time!

The day after we played in Temse (Belgium).  They made us a good welcome.
We were the first band to play, around 9 p.m.

We played an energetic show and made the people feel like home.
The response was good.
We’ll see you around really soon at our next Belgium gig in Deinze!

 Yesterday we were back in Vlissingen.
A couple of months ago we played on the Vlisingen-Sailfest which turned out into one giant rock n’ roll-show.

Yesterday, lots of those people found there way to rocstage De Piek.

Although during the show Slash/Jasper had to change equipment and I (Wido) had trouble with my stagesound, we could serve you a 2 hours dosed Gunz N’ Rozes show with varying hitsongs and some “insider” songs.

Overall, we had 3 great gigs.

Unfortunately Luc will not be playing the drums during the next two gigz because of obligations in Sidney Australia.
For these showz Hans in ‘t Zand  will take his place. (Thanks man, we’re going to rock that joint!!!)

In Gruitrode - Meeuwen baby!!!!!

With a Black Sabbath and Metallica-tribute together with Gunz N' Rozes line-up for a festival it could only mean one thing; ... it's Paradice City overthere in jeugdhuis De Mans where three great bands are gonna kick your ass .... and you’ll love it.

Well, it was a fantastic evening. Sabbathizer (with a great vocalist) had the rough task to start the evening and to get the sober people in a rockin' mood.

Hammer of Justice played a loud set that made the crowd wild.

We were very pleased this evening with such great bands and a legendary audience.
People knew all the lyrics and fuck yeah: ‘They were LOOUUUD!!’
It seemed as if a hurricane had entered the building when "Welcome To "The Jungle and "Paradise City" were being played.
And damn what a beer-shower I got.
Okay, I had that one comin’, whaha!!!

Loud n’ Heavy in Tapperij De Beurs - Schijndel.

Hey folks,

Last Saturday we had a terribly “bad hairday” - start of the evening. Without our unlucky deceased sound engineer it took more strenght to be able to do the gig.      
Luckilly Duff McHenny N´ our great friend / driver / cameraman / Big Helping Hand >>  Skinny managed to get everything working !!!

With extra helping hands N' ears of Martijn from the band Taxe-VanGunn, a vey good friend of Slash/Jasper, the show could take place…on the excactly planned moment!

Because of some irritating soundCheck "problems", which had to be solved, there was a lot of tension in the band before the start. But we cleared our minds, entered stage, and from start to finish we rocked the hell out of that joint.
With a crowd that was  enthousiastic drinking , singing , rocket queen dancing ,drinking, N´having F(‘)cking beers N´alcoholic stuff (WhahahaAA), the party was complete!

GUNZ N´ ROZES

skinny-dippin’ Vlissingen

Whoaaaa, what a fantastic crowd in Vlissingen.

When we started unloading the bus, we had a view over an almost empty field, but at the start of the GUNZ N' ROZES Show it was filled with 500 crazy fuckin' rockin' Fanz.

We had a great stage on which we could create a sublime live sound.
Thanx to the professionally trained ears of the sound engineer the audience could enjoy the Gunz N’ Rozes-show exactly the way we play it.
Great job!  Thankzz men  !
The people in Vlissingen form a crowd who is very committed and full of appreciation of our work.
Lots of applauding, handclapping, singing.
GREAT!

Near the end of the show craziness appeared with jumping around, forming a pit, screaming and yelling along.
At the end of the show the crowd immediately screamed eagerly for more.
And as if that wouldn’t work, a part of them beated the hell out of the stagefloors using it as a huge drumkit.

Slash/Jasper opened Paradise City and then Vlissingen showed us how wild they really are!
After the show our evening wasn’t over yet.
In the bar we worked on our alcohol-level and then it was time to conquer the beach.
Slash/Jasper had been waiting for it whole day to take a good dive.

Unfortunately the local girls were a bit shy, but Ward, Jasper, Dicky and I washed our sweat off in the Northsea with a good skinny-dive. (By the way;  next time it’s your turn to skinny, whahaha)
We made a deal that when we’re back, 8^th of November, we would do the same.

So prepare yourselves in Vlissingen.
After the show all head to the beach to have a dive with Gunz n’ Rozes!!!

Holy Cow Fest Schijndel.

What a show last evening, playing in front hundredz of people in open-air  Holy Cow Fest - Schijndel.
For days I thought we would be blessed with clouds and tons of water, luckily it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
It's been a month since the band was on stage, we had to focus a bit more than we were used to, but  we played a good show and people were enthusiastic.

Thanx to everyone in Schijndel for showing up and rocking along with the band.

Rumbeke Parsipop Open Air.

 Just like a couple of weeks ago (Torhout) we took almost the same route to end up in a place called Rumbeke (Roeselaere)
Sounds of hard metal music drained our ears with  full support of a crowd of heavy bangin' metal heads .. so we were curious what kind of GN'R - Fanz we had to deal with ... whaahahaha..

Well, that got quite clear when we entered the stage all dressed-up.
A warm applause reached us while Duff McHenny started ‘It’s so Easy’.
How to describe this gig: Lots of people diving from the stage, singing the songs as loud as they can, constantly shaking hands, smiling faces in a loud atmosphere of Rock n’ Roll!

(Let’s leave my black-out on Civil War-lyrics out of it, you motherfuckers who noticed it, whahahaha!)

The final song of the show, "Knockin’ on Heavens Door", which Slash/Jasper dedicated to his recently passed-away uncle, was sung loud and full of passion by the whole crowd and Parsipop Organisation n' Crew. 
We really wanna Thank you All for that fantastic moment.

 A special thanx goes out to the guy who saved our concert by getting behind the sound mixer (after having played three opening-songs with a fucked up noise) and give us the proper sound Gunz n’ Rozes needs. Without you, the audience couldn’t have enjoyed this evening as much as they have now.

 Alright, let’s see you all on the next Gunz n’ Rozes-show.

 Rockin’ Sint Henricus - Torhout!

 Last Saturday Night we had a great time with hundreds of Gunz n’ Rozes-Fans in Sint Henricus -Torhout.
After a 16wheels drive for about 3 hours we ended up at a Great Hotel where we had a superb diner at 22.30 before we went to the Tribute-Festival.
When we arrived the sounds of Bryan Adams reached our ears. His songs were performed by four fantastic musicians from the UK (Bryan Adams Experience).

During our show we saw them back in the crowd with ‘Bryan’ going completely nuts.. and a few minutes later singin´ GN´R  backing vocals shoulder2shoulder on stage several times. Thanks for the great evening guys!
...unfortunately we had a kinda bad luck this evening due to some weird technical problems with wireless systems, synths, drums..
Luckily we managed to keep the problems to the lowest level so we could keep on celebrating our show with an enthusiastic audience, screaming for more.

Whatever happens, the GN’R show always goes on and on as you could see and hear!

Terneuzen, get out of your fuckin’ rockin' chairzz!!!!

Our goal for last Sunday was very easy.
The locals of Terneuzen were enjoying their Sunday afternoon drinking beers accompanied by a hot sun.
The PubRock -terrace chairs were filled, but we wanted the people to get on their feet and sing and dance with us.
The longer we played the more people got excited and the more they got into the Gunz n’ Rozes-vibe.
We played for about 100 minutes although to Ward on keyboards it felt like the double, because he had the flu.

We ended the show with an enthusiastic screaming audience and a very satisfied "PubRock"  -Promoter.

We wanna say Special Thankz to  Peter Bourbon (Vengeance) who, for this time, picked up his old role as Slash so we could play this gig. (Jasper was rockin’ Spain for the weekend).

Thankx to everyone for showing up and we’ll see you on one of our future gigs.

OPPENHUIZEN FANTASTIC!!!

It’s obvious again. Playing in Friesland is always great!
Early this morning/late at night we played for 400 people in a marquee at Pieremachochel-Rock  in Oppenhuizen.
It’s always great to see people of all ages enjoying the famous Guns n’ Roses tunes.
The vibe was good, the sound on stage and in the whole venue was great, and the crowd even so as the band was riding an energetic nightrain for about almost 2 hours.
After the show, backstage, we had a great party with fans and the hard-working crew.

We thank the organization for their enthusiasm and the opportunity to play as headliner at their festival.

And of course we thank all the fans that came to see us last night.

Hopefully we’re back in Friesland very soon (don’t you agree Dicky? haha).

Great fun at "kermis Steenwijkerwold" Last Friday in a well-packed place, we had our first gig with key-wizard Ward Dizzy Gunn.
He played a fantastic show, breathing rock ‘n roll.
We did a couple of new songs:
Dust ‘n Bones, Yesterdays, Rocket Queen, My Michelle

Slash/Jasper and I were mostly to be found on the catwalk which was a perfect spot to be in interaction with the audience.

Luc Adler had other ideas ‘bout that cause he was surrounded by mist and lights during whole the gig, so he couldn’t even see the front of the stage. From the crowd he has seen no one at all.
Haha, what a bummer for him, cause the place was filled with screaming gents and lots of beautiful women women.

* Last Saturday we had a fantastic gig in Muziekcafe Helmond.

During the soundcheck the few people present already started rockin’.

When showtime started the place was fully packed. Whole evening people were screaming and singing along.
A very special moment was when we ended the song Patience and the crowd started singing the song again.
We enjoyed listening to them before, one at the time, the band played along and we finished the song again.
You people rock from the heart.

We ended the show playing You Could be Mine for the second time as a special thanks for the crazy maniacs who drove for over two hours from Noordwijk to watch this show. (Was the hotel okay guys?)

For all the people who were there. You were fuckin’ awesome.
Thank you for this great evening and we’ll see each other real soon at one of our next gigs.
